HFG - Hi-Flow Gas Metering Fuel Valve

All-Electric Hi-Flow Gas Metering Fuel Valve

HFG

Hi-Flow Gas Metering Fuel Valve

Precision's all-electric HFG2.0 gas valve is specifically designed for high-temperature, hazardous applications providing precise control for main and pilot, dry-low emissions (DLE) applications on 1MW-30MW industrial gas turbine engines.

The HFG2.0 valve has Natural gas flow rates of up to 30,000 PPH and is over ten times faster than its hydro-mechanical alternatives. Installing the all-electric HFG2.0 valve eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and tubing normally associated with hydro-mechanical valves and significantly reduces the high costs associated with their installation labor and maintenance.

This contaminant-resistant, patented design features an explosion-proof on-board electronic controller and a balanced flow metering section. PECC's proprietary, pressure-energized valve seat makes the HFG2.0 leak-tight. Metering is controlled to 0.0001 inch, resulting in an extremely high turn-down ratio of more than 400:1.

The actuator develops up to 1000 lbf and ensures that most debris is either crushed or passed through the valve without any damage. A digital motor controller provides precise movement for the brushless DC motor. A non-contacting resolver provides position feedback.

The HFG2.0 valve travels from fully closed to fully open in less than 100msec. and its wetted materials are NACE compliant. HFG2.0 valve bodies are available in anodized Aluminum or Stainless Steel.

The all-electric HFG2.0 gas fuel metering valve is ideally suited for older gas turbine retrofits which will benefit from its projected 30,000 hour mean-time-between-unscheduled-removals [MTBUR].
